Tfillin

Sticking with my Jewish theme, here's a still life of my pair of tfillin. This is still more stalling from getting to my projects at hand, but I was happy with how I did the colors. I reached one point in this painting where I thought I was happy, then wondered what would happen if I pushed myself a little further. Five hours later I was loving it a lot more, seeing still no end in sight. That, as far as I can tell, is growth. Done and redone a time or two in watercolor.
