I'd rather not admit how long I spent on this piece. If ever there was a case of fighting the paint, this is it. I'm not a fan of it, but wanted to post it. I tried to paint without penciling or sketching beforehand. A definite mistake. Beautiful flower watercolors are loose and more paper and air then paint. This is about as thick and hectic as paintings get. If flowers have a message, this painting doesn't capture it. Anyhow, I thought I'd still post it, cause I'm nice that way. Below is the 20 minute painting I did to get rid of the left over paint. It looks about as good, or equally bad, depending on how you want to spin it.
